Is There a “Back” Button?

No, there is no “back” button when you are using SituationHub to create a statement.

Why?

Each answer in SituationHub determines what questions you will get asked next.

For example, the software may ask you, “Are there any fatalities?” If you answer yes, it will ask, “How many people are dead?” If you answer no, the software will move on to the next set of questions.

If you discover you have made a mistake while answering your questions, you have two options.

Option 1: Exit the SituationHub and star from the begining.

Option 2: Complete all questions and then make edits and corrections in the Situation Room.

Where to Find the Directions for SituationHub?

Should you need to refresh your memory on how to use SituationHub, any Company Admin can click on the Admin button within the SituationHub software to read the instructions.

This video shows you how.

Loading Issues – The “Dancing Squares”

We often get asked what happens if you get the dreaded spinning wheel or in this case dancing squares.

Complicated events do take longer to load, but usually never more than 10 to 20 seconds.

If you see two red squares dancing in a circle, you likely have a problem with your internet connection.

First, try to reset your internet connection.

If that doesn’t work, try logging out and logging back in.

Also, if you are using a Microsoft browser, try using Safari, Chrome, or Firefox. Microsoft browsers perform poorly with all online applications.
